Recognizing Promptings of the Spirit

Just discovered this blog! You are amazing and I can't wait to get inspired by what you share on this. Thanks for being a great example to me and Stephe. We love you!
I just talked to Chandler's parents about this topic the day before you posted this. President Childs is in a branch presidency in the MTC, so President and Sister Childs get to go to the MTC firesides every Tuesday night. On the ninth, Elder Bednar gave the address. He talked about how to recognize the spirit and discern between a prompting and your own ideas. His key was that if you are living right and doing what you should be doing, it doesn't matter what the difference is. Both are righteous. (Sister Childs said it much better...:) - Lee
